It’s as if the Braque team is part of our marketing department. We’re on the same wavelength; they listen well and deliver on time and within budget. They are a valuable partner in achieving our business objectives. And most importantly, they’re top notch on creative!

Our mission is to creatively and strategically support Canadian food brands to help them grow.
Every member of our team is passionate about both food and marketing, and fun is a core value for us. We enjoy creating for our clients and collaborating with them. We know what we’re doing, and we do it well, what could be more enjoyable?
We aim to be the best in food marketing in Canada, but we want to achieve this with respect, listening, and tolerance. We’ve been saying it since 1992, there are no divas here. Being the best is earned.
Lastly, being Braque also means being naturally curious. It’s about wanting to explore everything related to food and marketing, but also being interested in the people around us, their stories, and histories. Curiosity allows us to see the world differently; that’s a part of being creative.
While still at the University of Montreal, Jean-Marc Demers founded Braque in 1992. Originally named Armacom and located on Parc Avenue in Mile End, the agency completed numerous projects for Quebec companies in various sectors. When it merged with Totem Communications in 1999, the agency adopted its current name and truly developed its food marketing services.
Experiencing growth at that time, Braque relocated its operations to Old Montreal in 2003, a vibrant center of creativity and culture and an exciting environment for both team members and clients.
Still at the helm of the agency after more than 30 years, Jean-Marc brings extensive business experience as well as an unparalleled vision of food marketing, confirmed by numerous professional awards over the years.
